Sunday Club was founded on the idea that Sundays are meant for doing things that light your fire. We designed each of our fragrances to transport you to times and places that allow you to pause, be still — and take a moment for you.
So consider Sunday Club a commitment to yourself: Each time you light one of our candles, it should be a reminder to slow down, reset, and go do the thing that fires you up.
All of our candles are hand-poured in Brooklyn with a natural blend of coconut and soy wax. And why wooden wicks? They burn cleanly, crackle delightfully — and create the perfect space for your Sundays.
Meet the maker 👩🏻🎨
Hi! I'm Alice: candle maker, cat lover, cocktail enthusiast, Chinese American. I founded Sunday Club in San Francisco in March 2020, after spending the majority of my life worrying about what I was "supposed" to be doing — and not enough on what I want to be doing. So I created Sunday Club with the goal of building something that lights my fire — and brings you joy.
Everything I've created here has been built from the ground up, right from my tiny apartment. Every candle is hand-poured in my very own kitchen, all the wicks and labels are applied by hand, and each box is hand-packaged with love. From the wax to the jars to the labels, each piece of my candles is sourced from across California — where I first launched Sunday Club — in an effort to support local businesses with my own.
I'm excited to bring you on this journey with me. It's one I hope will help us collectively take time to prioritize ourselves, and let go of the things that don't serve us. Welcome to Sunday Club; I'm thrilled you're here.
